I am Ramon Veras the President of JKF GOJU KAI Texas and head instructor at the Traditional Karate Center in Sugar Land Texas. It has been my mission to bring the best Martial art and Goju Ryu Karate training to my students in the Sugar Land Community, Texas and all over the USA. It is my passion to make a difference within our Sugar Land community. I have helped countless individuals become achievers and leaders through martial arts training. I have seen our training build confidence in the most reluctant people. Our training has empowered people to do things, which they wouldn’t normally do.. You will have a chance to learn Traditional Goju-Ryu as it was develop in Okinawa, the birthplace of karate. Primarily you be learning Okinawa Goju-Ryu and JKF Goju Kai Karate, a half hard / half soft style. You will become proficient in other training methods such as Hojo undo a unique strength and conditioning specific to strength the body for karate and styles of training will supplement your knowledge of the martial arts making you better and rounded in your abilities.
The Traditional Karate Center was established in 1985 in Houston and later moved to Sugar Land in 1990. We serve as the point of contact in Texas for the Japan Karate do Federation Goju Kai and the Okinawa Goju Ryu Karate do Kyoka in Texas. We are the Texas JKF Goju Kai and the Okinawa Goju Ryu Karate kyo Kai representative for the Texas and the Head quarters dojo for the Pan American Okinawa Goju Ryu Karate do kyo kai Ei Shin Kai. We are a growing organization teaching traditional Goju Ryu Karate do based on the training methods of the JKF Goju Kai and Okinawa Goju Ryu Karate do kyo Kai. We have member dojos in Texas, Colorado, Florida, North Carolina in the USA and many Latin America such Dominican Republic, Panama, Costa Rica Honduras, Colombia, Venezuela, Chile, Brazil, Mexico and Ecuador.
